The lucky friends of ours over at /Drive were invited to go check out the engine and chassis “marriage” at Bentley’s assembly plant during the process of putting the Mulsanne’s V8 twin-turbo motor to the chassis. They also explain that the reason the Mulsanne doesn’t get the big-boy W12 is because of customer’s enjoyment out of the V8’s huge torque curve. But seriously, it’s not like the customers are driving themselves anyway. It’s a very systematic and hypnotizing process that is captured nicely on video.
