Bentley Assembly Line for Motor and Chassis

If you've ever wondered how the Bentley V8 makes its way into the chassis, now's your chance to find out.

The lucky friends of ours over at /Drive were invited to go check out the engine and chassis “marriage” at Bentley’s assembly plant during the process of putting the Mulsanne’s V8 twin-turbo motor to the chassis. They also explain that the reason the Mulsanne doesn’t get the big-boy W12 is because of customer’s enjoyment out of the V8’s huge torque curve. But seriously, it’s not like the customers are driving themselves anyway. It’s a very systematic and hypnotizing process that is captured nicely on video.

Also, if you have some time to kill, you could spend all day on /Drive’s YouTube channel if you haven’t already.
