For 2012 Ford decided to bring a third generation to the Focus lineup, and fortunately, the third time is a charm. You couldn’t ask for much more in a compact sedan or hatch, both of which the Focus is offered in. With a peppy 160hp four-cylinder motor and an interior that screams value—in both tactility and technology—the new Focus is a bargain. Also, with MyFord Driver Connect Technology, the Focus is truly in a class of its own.
Four trim levels make the 2012 Focus an inexpensive whip that can fit a myriad of molds. It offers variety and versatility, and in these tough times of pricey petrol, it nets 37 mpg on the highway. The new Focus is only eleven miles short of the current gas-sipping all-star, the Prius. Those eleven miles are an easy sacrifice when you consider the fact that the Focus does everything else better—especially in the looks department.
