Mercedes Benz to enter eyewear market

Hot off its Berlin-based fashion week, Mercedes Benz has just announced a new outlook of a business venture- designer optics. Partnering with Italian eyewear company Allison SpA, the German automaker will soon be releasing a line of stylish sunglasses and prescription eyeglass frames. And in their usual over-the-top fashion, they ain’t half-steppin. The new collaborative line will include roughly 40 different designs and models, ranging from $233-$300 for eyeglass frames and $220-$357 for sunglasses.

Benz eyewear will only be sold through exclusive European retailers, but we imagine the good ol’ internet might be helpful in finding a set to best match your C, E or S… or maybe just your Chrysler.
