Sometimes it’s nice to have a little refresher show you the fine workings of an internal combustion engine. Luckily, there are way more adept people out there who can design and build some graphic like this on the computer and then translate it into something that actually makes sense. It’s genius really. The moving image reveals the 4-stroke cycle, what parts are used during the process, configurations of different motors, and the rate at which different cooling, exhaust and oxygen rates affect the motor. It’s very well done and if your other half was ever wondering why the car goes vroom vroom, have them check this out for some knowledge.
