For day three of the 2012 Gumball 3000, the RIDES team only rolled about five miles in our Cadillac CTS-V—but that was as far as we needed to go to reach the infield of the Indianapolis 500. We had dope luxury box seats right at the finish line, but for the best view of the action, there was no place better than the rooftop with an eagle-eye view of the track. It was the first time any of us had seen the Indy 500 live—and damn, if those cars don’t sound good blastin’ down the front straight at 215 miles an hour!
