’86 monte carlo SS on 26s

Despite its name, everyone knows that chameleon paint ain’t about rolling incognito. So when Wayne whipped his SS through the hood, flip-flopping more than John Kerry, it’s not surprising that he drew attention…the wrong kind. “They jacked my shit two days after Christmas, stripped it, keyed it, left it all a mess,” he exclaims. “But I wasn’t going to let them keep me down.” Having bought the car 10 years earlier for a mere $600, he had put too much time and effort into his ride to be stopped by a few jack boys.

“It’s not the kind of car you just give up on,” says Wayne. “The frame is an ’82, but we put the complete body of an ’86 on it. Plus, my whole interior was already done.” True to his word, not only did he bring the Monte back, he made it bigger and better. A full fiberglass custom dash was fitted, along with an integrated audio/visual system. And since 22s were starting to look small at the time (not to mention that they were missing), adding 26s and a Gorilla lift kit gave Wayne that ‘chin-up’ look he was after. Next time someone thinks about jacking this ride, they better bring a stepladder. W.G..

I got a 88 monte carlo ss i got some 23s on her butthe wheels are sprauling outwards it look’s like they are about to break off at any moment.I need longer a-arms(control arms) i wanted to lift her up to put some 26s on her. help me out man where can i go or who can i call to get that lift kit.
