Crocadonk

’75 chevy caprice on 26s

Keith, the owner of this croc-themed Caprice, had been looking to break into the hi-riser scene for a minute. There was just one thing holding him back…prison. “I used to see pictures of them every day when I was locked up,” says Keith. “I said as soon as I got out, I have to build one of them.” After doing his time, it wasn’t long before he tracked down this ’75 in Naples, Florida. It was rusty, but still drivable with a fairly decent interior. Not that it made a big difference but it wasn’t like he planned on keeping much of it.

Being from the Sunshine State, where lifted classics are almost as abundant as the menacing reptiles, Keith devised a way to get some extra attention. “Everybody down here’s been running the checkerboard paint and ostrich,” says Keith “I like it, but I had to do something different. That’s when I decided to go with the crocodile theme…it’s very Florida, too.” Sly and menacing as-is on 26s, you might soon catch this beast ‘floating’ through the swamp on something even bigger. That’s if it doesn’t change hands. “I’m getting a lot of offers,” says Keith “For the right price, I’ll let her go. But then I’m going to have to get right to work on another one!” W.G.
