In a move that may be a sign of the times, Mercedes has announced that they will begin phasing out their coveted V12. No longer designing cars to house such a lengthy powerplant, it doesn’t mean the manufacturer is abandoning horsepower. Instead, expect focus to shift to twin-turbo V8s over the course of the next few years.
