Welcome to the recession. If your pain at the pump wasn’t enough, there’s now signs that the economic downturn has even hit the wealthy. Lamborghini Orange County, not just California but the world’s largest dealer of Gallardos and Murcielagos, has closed its doors for good. The dealership’s owner has not commented, but chief operating officer of Lamborghini America, Pietro Frigerio, is quoted as saying that the dealership’s demise is due to “several unfortunate business decisions” made by the dealership in addition to the economic stressors. Now a lot once filled with exotics sits empty and locked. Let’s get to work Barack!
