1.2 million gallons of unleaded burn away in Kansas City

For any of y’all in the heartland, the strain at the pump might be getting a lot more intense over the next few days. Firefighters in Kansas City, KS decided to let the above blaze, of $4-per-gallon gasoline, burn itself out Tuesday night. Reportedly started by a lightning strike, the blaze was luckily isolated and contained from spreading to nearby storage tanks. Luckily nobody was hurt- but we can’t imagine it easing any of the pain on your wallet. Source: KMBC-TV
