World's most expensive Hot Wheels car

Hot Wheels is celebrating their 40th anniversary by showing off a custom jeweled 1:64-scale Hot Wheels car, designed by celebrity jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills. The one-of-a-kind car is the most expensive in Hot Wheels history and was made to commemorate the 4 billionth Hot Wheels car to roll off the “assembly line.”  The iced-out car has more than 2,700 diamonds for a total of nearly 23 carats, and a price tag of $140,000. The vehicle was unveiled by Nick Lachey and in late 2008 will be auctioned off to benefit Lachey’s charity of choice, Big Brothers Big Sisters. Source: Luxist
