Denali XT Concept unveiled in Chicago

It’s becoming abundantly clear that the shift towards pick-up style SUVs isn’t a passing trend. The latest example of this open-bed styling wowed yesterday’s crowds at the Chicago Auto Show. GMC’s Denali XT concept is a four-door pickup built on the same rear-wheel-drive architecture as Pontiac’s G8. It’s flex-fuel V8 is expected to produce 325 hp and have a 50% improvement in fuel efficiency compared to conventional V8s.So far there’s no word on whether a production version is planned, but it might not be a bad move.
