Busta Rhymes was in court yesterday, slamming the brakes on his not guilty pleas. For the two assault charges which stemmed from incidents last year, the judge sentenced him to three years probation, served concurrently. The victims of Busta’s assault have received orders of protection, and the rapper is subject to a year in jail if he violates his terms of probation. Sentencing will take place March 18.
For his DUI, Busta has been ordered to pay a $750 fine and enroll in a drunk driving program. For his final charge, driving with a suspended license, he’ll have to walk it out and surrender his driver’s license for six months.
