BMW reveals subtly refreshed 6 Series for 2008

It’s hard to believe that BMW’s hate-it-or-love-it 6 Series has been in production for four years now- but while the massive sport coupe still looks modern by any standards, the boys at Bimmer felt it deserved a little facelift anyway. 2008 model changes include a new electronic shifter, optional Sport Automatic (with paddle shifters and rpm matching on the downshift), LED taillights and the lane departure system.

The base 650i hardtop starts at $76,375 while the 650i convertible starts at $83,475. Why so high? They got to pay the writers- we’d hit you with their complete press release, but the 25-page document seems overkill for what we did in two paragraphs!
