Toll-tag records being subpoenaed in divorce cases

Ever thought that little white tag on your windshield was somehow going to bite you one day? Nevermind keeping track of your balance- divorce lawyers have started to use EZ Pass records to monitor and pinpoint spousal infidelity. Lynne Gold-Bikin, a Pennsylvania divorce lawyer, tells how E-ZPass helped prove a client’s husband was late night creepin: “He claimed he was in a business meeting in Pennsylvania. And I had records to show he went to New Jersey that night.”

Gold-Bikin is just one of many lawyers who have used the records to shatter credibility- and while it may sound like an invasion of privacy, they’re just as useable as credit card statements (which can only add to the argument.)

Players, step your game up and erase that paper trail! Take $5 and buy a bag of Cheetos. After lickin the orange off your fingers, dump the tag in the bag and use your change to take the slow lane- It’ll cost much less in the end!
