The Game in court after playing Red Light, Green Light 1,2,3

Jayceon Taylor, AKA The Game made an appearance in a New York City criminal court yesterday to answer charges on impersonating an undercover police officer. Taylor declined a plea deal from the prosecutor that would have let him go on time already served (the few hours he spent when booked).

The charges stem from after The Game’s appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman last November, where he told a cabby he was an undercover police officer and ordered him to run multiple red lights… nothing all that stunning for New Yorkers, but enough to catch a little police attention nonetheless.

If convicted of criminal impersonation in the 2nd degree, The Game could face up to one year in jail.
