The Vatican’s recently released Guidelines for the Pastoral Care of the Road or “Ten Driving Commandments” don’t condemn your unique swagger… but they do call for better behavior behind the wheel. The 36-page document warned that driving can bring out “primitive behavior” in people, and called for no mobile drunken antics, no swearing, and careful observation of the speed limits. Motorists are also urged to stop for those in distress whenever possible. Basically what was mostly law already is now ordered from above.
