Has it been a mad struggle to keep lil man out of your local Build-A-Bear Workshop? Not that there’s anything wrong with stuffed animals, but in case they make ya feel a little soft, a manlier alternative is on the way. Just in time for Father’s Day, Ridemakerz has begun the roll-out of their new retail stores which allow kids of all ages to build their own fully-customized mini-machines. Starting with a choice of base models and colors, customers build their cars just like they might a full-sized project, adding rims, lights and even remote control functions. While the concept does teach kids individuality, you might also consider it an early
warning introduction to the custom car game, as an all out show-stopper can easily approach $100 in finished costs.
The first Ridemakerz opened this past weekend in Myrtle Beach, SC. For more information, visit the Web site here.
