Back in the day, the most a shorty could look forward to in summer camp was archery or maybe bustin’ off a BB-gun. Lawrence Technological Institute of Southfield, MI makes those memories seem downright primitive. The school, responsible for more than 75 years of grooming Detroit’s automotive engineers has launched a revolutionary program- Automotive design summer camp for high school juniors and seniors. Backpackers will not only learn about design from industry experts, they’ll have a hand at sketching as well as model building.
The program, set to run June 25-29 will also offer scholarships to top performers. Think you or someone you know has the skills to be the next big auto designer? Hit up Lisa Kujawa (email@example.com) for more information.
