Your 2,000 HP Yacht-Towing Sedan Is Almost Ready

Dartz delivers another dose of wackness.

Over the years, Russia’s Dartz has shown how crazy a group of Russians with money can be. There was the original Dartz Prombron, an SUV that offered whale penis foreskin leather on the options list. (They quickly pulled the option due to public outcry.) There was their Bentley Continental GT wrapped in white vinyl resembling snakeskin. There was the Iron Diamond, an armored SUV designed for women—which means it’s shorter (to make parking easier) and lacks a rear driver’s side door to keep people from sneaking in and stealing purses (seriously). Now they’ve revealed their nuttiest idea yet—a 2,000 horsepower armored car designed to tow a powerboat.

Called the Dartz Prombron Nagel, it only exists as a CGI concept for the moment, but the car maker the car will launch next year. We have no idea what generates those 2,000 horses—the company only says the car will use a “specially created…engine.” It’ll be bullet-proof, it’ll be capable of 155 miles per hour, and it’ll tow a 55 foot boat weighing five tons. Reportedly. What are you willin’ to bet Birdman will scoop one up?

Press Blast:

2012 DARTZ PROMBRON’ NAGEL

Dartz Prombron’ and Gray Design are pleased to announce the release of the 2012 Dartz Prombron’ Nagel – the worlds first armored Sportback, designed for pulling yachts.

The car is to be launched in 2012, a year of many anniversaries for the legendary car brand RussoBalt (RussoBaltique) which later became Prombron’ and was later reborn as the daring Dartz Prombron’.

History
In the cold winter of 1911, on the last day of the year, two heroes, Andrey Nagel and Vadim Mikhailoff set off for the Monte Carlo Rally, traveling the furthest distance of any team – 3260 km.
In the long distance race, they drove the C24/55 Monaco RussoBalt sportscar which was specially named for the Monte Carlo Rally after the french name RussoBaltique.

The journey turned out to be a victorious one with the team winning nine awards from HSH Monaco Prince Louis III, and upon their return were awarded the Order of St. Anna from the Russian Tzar Nikolaus II.

RussoBalt continued to make sports and armored cars, royal lancelets and airplanes, not to mention that even the famous helicopter inventor, Sikorsky, was also a RussoBalt engineer.

Anniversary
The Dartz Prombron’ Nagel is being built on the anniversary of this great achievement, commemorating Monaco’s great yachting tradition. Designed by Eduard Gray of Gray Design, the car is built on the Dartz Prombron’ platform using the worlds safest KAPSULA technology to ensure the greatest peace of mind for it’s passengers.

Like all Dartz cars, the armor makes it heavy enough ensure a smooth ride when towing yachts up to five tones in weight and up to 15 meters in length. But this is no heavyweight Ivan Drago, as the sporting spirit is experienced through the specially created 2000 hp engine inside. The projected speed is a staggering 250 km/h, allowing yacht owners to be the first on the scene for any occasion, be it the seaside or the race track.

Enjoy the Dartz Prombron’ Nagel, the world’s first armored Sportback for yacht owners. Give your yacht some company, your neighbor envy.
