Lookin’ for a big, luxurious sedan with a top you can drop on those warm summer days, but want something less common than the $1.5 million Maybach Laudaulet? Then check out the Strand Craft Limousine Beach Cruiser. Designed to shuttle the rich and famous from the finest hotels to the nicest beaches, there’s no reason you can’t snag one for your villa in the south of France. (Well, unless you lack the cash.)
The canvas roof comes right off when the weather allows for it, letting the sun pound in while you floss in style. (If you really want to show off, though, you’ll wanna hop in the rear-facing seats in back.) Inside, Alcantara and leather cover just about everything soft to the touch; if that wasn’t baller enough, the instruments are made by watchmaker Breitling, while Swarovski crystals dot the interior. There’s an 1100 watt Naim stereo for blasting your favorite music, too.
Despite its size, the Beach Cruiser shouldn’t be a dog on the streets; a 400 horsepower 6.0 liter V8 sits under the hood. The power heads to all four wheels, so drivers can motor over the sand straight down to the waterline. Give us one of these for cruising around by day and a cleanly modded exotic to drive by night, and we’re set for the summer.

New Luxury Niche
Todays luxury market is thriving, and the limousine beach cruiser opens a new niche in the luxury sector.
The Strand Craft Limousine Beach Cruiser caters towards the luxury hotel chains that want to offer their clients premium service in a way that has not been addressed before. Optimized for maximum visibility in sun soaked regions, the limousine is well equipped to convey its passengers in maximum comfort and style to some of the best beaches in the world.
The long, low lines, in true Strand Craft tradition, make for an extremely sleek first impression. Styling cues such as the canvas roof, chromed hubcaps and wooden inlays cast the mind back to the glorious days of summer freedom while the whole concept is raised to a new level by the quality of it’s lines and build.
The interior is finished in Alcantara leather with trim highlights in brushed aluminum and chrome. On board clockwork in the instrument panel from Breitling and trim details accentuated with crystals from Swarovski continue the theme of luxury throughout the vehicle.
Featuring a sound system from Naim that uses a 1100 Watt amplifier to deliver premium sound quality to up to 15 speakers, the quality of music will never be compromised even when the canvas roof is fully opened.
Power comes from a 6 liter V8 engine under the hood, capable of generating 400 horsepower and pushing the vehicle to it’s limited top speed of 220 kph. This power is delivered to all four wheels via a Haldex system, giving maximum traction and performance over sand covered roads.
