The NYIAS, held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, is an event that promises a ton of squeaky-clean rides, a window into the automotive future and a taste of the aftermarket industry—whetting your appetite for SEMA. This year was no different. Some fresh designs were released after much anticipation, like the new 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. And while each coming year you might expect the market to be oversaturated with hybrid-centralized, dinky cars, it’s soothing to know the future still has a faint smell of burned rubber.
