Interior Monotonous but clean interior hasn’t been remixed for the GXP—it’s entry-level Solstice-spec, but this time you get special white with red number gauges. Digital readout in the cluster reveals a trick digital boost gauge for you tuners.
Exterior Remixed front fascia gives the GXP slightly more attitude. The mesh grilles have been blacked out giving the Solstice a needed mean mug rather than the base model friendly face. Two-step to the rear and peep the fat dual exhaust, this is serious!
Floss Factor In Mean Yellow you’ll catch more ridiculous glances and stares than if you were wearin’ all-over print Bape. Chrome rollers in 18-inches are again optional, but the floss is under the hood.
Flaw Factor It’s a purpose-built roadster, so don’t say peep ’bout storage space! The GXP is a special car—too bad there aren’t enough nuances or enough supportive seats for this edition.
Extra Extra The GXP model is the Solstice to have. At 260hp this little bugger can dodge and weave through traffic like nobody’s business ’cause of its sport-tuned Bilstein suspension. The motor is smaller than a regular Solstice but the GXP has more ponies. That’s ’cause this micro-beast is turbocharged and, damn, can you feel it. The turbo provides an addicting rush of power halfway through the revs—don’t sleep on this!
