Interior The butter-soft two-tone Ebony/Morocco leather seating and exclusive H3 headrest embroidery says, “This is not an overgrown Tonka toy.” The backseat is roomy enough for two full size adults and the captain’s chair is fit for commanding the ship.
Exterior Chrome here, chrome there, chrome every-damn-where. From the fuel cap to the standard 18s to the accents on the spare tire carrier, the H3x gives more bling for ya buck. Peep limited “x” metallic colors Desert Orange and Sonoma Red. Running boards and body colored trim are also a nice touch.
Floss Factor This little-big dog SUV still swings the swagger of it’s bigger brothers thanks to the brushguards, chrome-a-plenty trim and a seven-speaker Monsoon system that’s capable of disturbing the peace like that crew in ATL.
Flaw Factor The H3x is harder to see out of than a Bape hoodie zipped all the way up. Which leaves you feeling like Ray Charles if you try to parallel park without the rearview camera.
Extra-Extra The rugged performance that one expects from the franchise (selectable four-wheel drive, StabiliTrak, traction control, etc) is all here, but steps it up tremendously on the fly scale with shiny accoutrements. And to squelch the compliants of the previous H3, engineers added 24 more horses.
