Interior: Eureka! Ford has engineered in ergonomics. The Fusion’s optional leather interior is lush for the price. The finish feels almost German, and items like the telescoping steering column are a nice bonus.

Exterior: While many say the new VW Jetta looks like a Corolla, the Fusion looks the way the Jetta should have. The shape is boxy while still looking fresh, and the chrome accents pull it all together along with “alert” looking headlamps.

Floss Factor: The large bar chrome grille shines like a set of platinum fronts, while the aggressive look will have folks thinking you’re driving something worth a lot more paper. A set of 19s or 20s would set it off.

Flaw Factor:
The V6 is only available with a slow matic transmisson. This slushbox robs the car of the sporty feel it deserves.
