You don’t get the type of respect that Giovanna has in the wheel game by coming up with run-of-the-mill ideas. That kind of recognition is only earned with concepts that take wheel customization to the next level while staying true to a company’s core DNA. Lose that, and you run the risk of falling into the same rut as the hundreds of other wheel manufacturers trying to stay rolling.

Giovanna’s latest Biblical-sized brainstorm brings us a one-piece wheel featuring a removable faceplate that you can leave blank, paint or customize with your own graphics or artwork. The Caracas comes in three finishes: chrome, chrome and black or chrome and split black. Think of it as four rolling blank canvases you can personalize, one-of-a-kind pieces of wheel art for your ride.

“The Caracas is a multi split-spoke wheel with available solid and split-spoke caps, so you can change the look of your wheels without buying new ones,” says Andrew Yurcich, marketing director for Giovanna. “The style and design is cutting edge.” The Caracas is available for trucks and SUVs, and cost anywhere from $675-$1,995 a wheel, depending on the setup. Once you custom paint it, though, it becomes priceless…like that faux-gold nameplate you rocked in the late ’80s. Marcus Amick
