If you aren’t a VIP-style head, the name Wald may just evoke the image of some rich white dude, but it’s actually a highly regarded Japanese tuner, so pay attention. They’ll hook-up everything from a Toyota Crown to a Benz S55. And with their newest, Euro inspired wheel, the Portofino, they don’t seem to be slowing up. “The wheel’s definitely more European than VIP,” says Jon Peck, president of the foreign wheel importer, Jonari. “It’s very European styled, modeled after companies like Brabus and Carlsson.”
