by Jack Chinelli 19” 20” 22” 24” 26” Cali’s AZA Forged knows money isn’t everything, it’s the only thing. These $100-laced rims are based on AZA’s Edge, but it’s their custom look that turns heads. “Everywhere we go, the response is great [on the AZA C-Note],” says Ali Afzal, owner of AZA Forged. “It’s not just new cars, we’re getting old cars, too. We just did a ’72 Eldorado from Michigan.” Although the rims are forged, counterfeiting isn’t a bid AZA is ‘bout to serve. The C-Notes are made during the powder coating process, where a sheet of pseudo $100-bill film is soaked until gelled, placed on the rim and baked in the oven at 400 degrees. Without a lesson on rim cooking, know that the results are perfecto—the finish won’t crack or peel. Nineteen-inchers start at $1200 each. Keep in mind you get a juicy lip too—six inches, that is. You can request the Buck treatment on any of AZA’s full-faced rims for the right price. With two loves in your life, which one will you bling out? We say go with the one people see you with more...or the one that always rides for you.
