Heisman Trophy finalist and All-American running back Chris Perry, 22, is obsessed with rushing—on-and-off field.

Upon tallying 1,674 yards and 18 touchdowns at the University of Michigan in his final season, Perry promised to let RIDES ride shotgun while he purchased his first six-figure whip upon signing his NFL contract. But about two months before the NFL draft, Perry said he couldn’t wait anymore; he was ready to get the new car now. Could you really blame him? When you have an opportunity to stunt in a BMW 760Li, patience is not necessarily the greatest virtue.

As a projected late first-round draft pick—which should get Perry a contract somewhere in the neighborhood of six years at $8 million—it wasn’t too hard for Perry to cut a deal with his bank and the dealership months before he ever got paid. “I just called my agent and I told him I wanted a 760. We went through the loan process to get the money, and after that it was just getting the car the way I wanted it—with all the features.”
