On the field, Pro Bowl wide receiver Terrell Owens has established himself as a defensive-secondary nightmare, bullying opposing teams with his large, muscular frame as he heartlessly rubs it in their faces every step of the way.

Off-field, the nine-year vet who now spreads his wings for the Philadelphia Eagles, is pretty conservative in every aspect of his life—both in his personality and automobile-wise. His fleet consists of a 2004 BMW 745 Li, a 2002 Mercedes-Benz G-Class, a 2002 Volkswagen Beetle convertible (seriously), a 2001 Volkswagen Beetle hardtop, and a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche. For Alabama’s finest, perceived image doesn’t really matter—unless it’s a shot of him rollin’ with the Lombardi Trophy come January.

It wasn’t always pimped-put rides for Owens:

[On his first car memory] “I didn’t have one. Like everybody else—visit your friend or your girl’ using your mom’s car. My mother had a ’57 Chevy Malibu. It was a mustard-beige-looking color with no hub caps.”

Classifying his personal taste in cars:

“I like to be different. I don’t like the same stuff everybody else has. You always wanna get something to try to set yourself apart. Just thinking about it, I feel like I wasted a lot of money trying to get a lot of boom and stuff in the car ‘cause it was a fad. I’d rather get something with a nice clean sound, nice clean bass, and I’m good.”
